Maker’s Lab

The school’s maker’s lab is a space where students and teachers
get together and build things together. It is an amalgamation of science, art, robotics, design, and free spirit. Children blend their imagination and creativity with the materials provided to bring out the best product they can. The activities in the maker’s lab foster skills like creativity, team building, leadership, imagination, problem-solving, and many more.

Montessori Lab

The Pre Primary school follows the Montessori approach as one of its pedagogy. The Montessori lab inspires a lifelong love of learning by allowing children to follow their natural developmental trajectory. The students are encouraged to learn through abundant opportunities to engage in spontaneous, purposeful activities with the guidance of teachers in our Montessori lab.

Reggio Lab

The Reggio approach is innovative and inspiring, valuing each child as strong, capable, and resilient. It holds the belief that every child has a deep curiosity and potential that informs their understanding of the world and their place within it. The environment is the third teacher in a Reggio lab. Filled with natural light, order, and beauty, learning spaces are open and clutter-free with every material having a purpose to encourage children to delve deeper into their own interests.

Art

We believe in providing students with an art education that gives them an opportunity to understand their legacy and combine it with a vision of the future. In addition to helping students nurture a passion for specific arts and crafts, we inculcate aesthetic appreciation and creativity within them resulting in a refinement of the senses and a desire to conserve one's heritage and environment

Digital Literacy

Digital literacy is the fourth pillar of a child’s education alongside reading, writing, and mathematics and is resourced and taught accordingly.”
-House of Lords Report, 2017.

When digital literacy is integrated into schools, students develop a broader range of digital skills and a better understanding of the risks involved in using technology. To develop curious, confident, and life-long learners who are technologically expert and discerning/good decision-makers users in an increasingly technology-driven world. Our belief is in equipping all our students with the 21st-century learning skills to prepare them for an ever-changing future. We believe that developing digital competence at the Primary level can help to raise awareness on safety issues and build critical thinking among children regarding content and devices that they use. All the classrooms have Finger Touch LED screens and easy access to tabs, which the students can use under supervision. It is essential to a school’s success and a student’s lifelong improvement.

Robotics

Our robotics program is an exciting and innovative part of our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. It provides students with hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming robots, fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. We aim to develop students’ technical skills, critical thinking, and collaborative abilities through engaging and challenging projects.

Spiritual Development

This quote from Henry Ford puts it well: “When I use the word spirituality, I don’t necessarily mean religion; I mean whatever it is that helps you feel connected to something that is larger than yourself.” At Ambience, we develop our approaches to support spiritual development through teaching children how to meditate, yoga techniques, prayer, guided visualization, responding to ‘big questions’ raised by the teachers/ young children, and the use of a reflection/spiritual focus in the classrooms. We give children the opportunities to explore spirituality across many areas through mindful sessions, circle time, and reflection classes.
