This activity was based on the functional mechanism of a cuckoo clock. This activity was conducted to make students understand the basic push & pull mechanism of a cuckoo clock, how it works, the relationship between time on the clock and time of the cuckoo to come out; which has helped a student use his/her cognition to understand the functional aspect of the clock, the directly proportional relationship between time on the clock and time for cuckoo to peek out and how creative a student can be in making their clocks.
